Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino, together with Mr. Mario Rubén Martínez, Director of ICCAE, and Eng. Nelson Rodríguez, Manager Regional El Salvador, made important executive visits on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, to strengthen relations with the Autonomous Executive Port Commission (CEPA), who is in charge of the administration and operation of international airports, and Aeroman, also based in El Salvador, a company with more than 30 years of experience in the aeronautical market, which currently offers first class maintenance services, with high standards in terms of safety, quality, cost and customer service.

Aeroman also offers a wide range of maintenance services for Airbus and Boeing aircraft, including IFE modifications, structural and painting programs, among others. On average, 140 maintenance visits are completed annually.

The purpose of this important executive visit was to strengthen cooperation relations that will allow for a comprehensive and efficient provision of air navigation services in the Central American region, as well as within the strategic bets in the field of aeronautical training.

At the meeting with Eng. Nelson Vanegas, president of CEPA, discussed topics of interest related to projects underway at AIES-SOARG and other airports, as well as ICCAE’s initiatives as a Regional Aeronautical Instruction Center of Excellence.

In another working meeting with Aeroman’s CEO, Eng. Alejandro Echeverría and with the Director of Operations and Technical Training, Ing. Florencio Castillo, the conversations were related to the “Aeronautical Maintenance Technician with Specialty (TMAE)” project, in which it was agreed to deepen the analysis of Aeroman’s specific training needs in this area, so that the programs being developed by ICCAE are better adjusted to the particularities of commercial aircraft maintenance, especially.

They also discussed the actions to be taken for the eventual signing of a Cooperation Agreement between AEROMAN and COCESNA, scheduled for April of this year.
