COCESNA supports the efforts of the Member State of Costa Rica for the election of its candidate for the Representation of Central America and Panama in ICAO.

On June 12, Messrs. Ing. Rodolfo Méndez Mata, Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Mr. Jose Manuel Saenz Scaglietti, Proprietary and Alternate Representatives, respectively, of Costa Rica in COCESNA’s Board of Directors, and our Executive President, Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino, accompanied by the Consultant Mr. Marco A. Ospina, and Sr. Germinal Sarasqueta, current Representative of Central America and Panama to the ICAO Council, paid courtesy visits to the distinguished Representatives to the ICAO Council, Sr. Martin Pagé, from Canada and Mr. Yang Shengjun, from China. This occasion also served to promote the candidacy of the State of Costa Rica in the next election of the ICAO Council for the 2019-2022 triennium, which will take place during the 40th session of the ICAO Assembly, from September 24 to October 4, 2019, thus ensuring the permanence of the representation and presence of Central America and Panama before the ICAO Council, which originated on June 30, 1959.
