These visits also served to promote the candidacy of the State of Costa Rica in the next election of the ICAO Council for the 2019-2022 triennium, which will take place during the 40th Session of the ICAO Assembly, from September 24 to October 4, 2019, thus ensuring the permanence of the representation and presence of Central America and Panama before the ICAO Council, which has been in office for sixty (60) continuous years.
