On Monday, July 29, 2019, our Executive President Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre, on behalf of COCESNA signed a contract with Thales Las France SAS, represented by Mrs. Ludmila Gonzales, to update COCESNA’s AMHS system with the latest state of the art technology according to the system roadmap, as well as to install a virtual TopSky-AIS and TopSky- AMHS contingency system at CENAMER’s Backup Control Center in El Salvador.
This important contract will ensure the proper and updated operation of the TopSky-AIM (AIXM, EAIP, AGC Charting. GeoTitan), TopSky-AIS and TopSky-AMHS systems for a period of two years, which will also allow the implementation of functional improvements, increasing the safety of the air navigation services that COCESNA provides to its Member States and Users in general. In addition to strengthening the ties of cooperation between the two companies, to continue training COCESNA personnel at the highest level, providing services jointly in the region.
