On September 9, a working meeting was held in Panama City, Panama, via teleconference connection with Mr. Nicholas Reyes, Director of the Western Hemisphere Office of International Affairs, then followed the face-to-face meeting with Mr. Carl Johnson, Mr. Christopher Rucker from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mr. Wilfredo Lobo, Director of the Honduran Civil Aeronautics Agency (AHAC), and Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino, Executive President of the Central American Corporation of Air Navigation Services (COCESNA), the main objective was to initiate the roadmap to certify the State of Honduras with Category I.
From COCESNA’s perspective, topics related to Air Navigation, Operational Safety, Training and Environment were also addressed through the FAA’s Alliance Program with Central America.
