On January 7, 2021, COCESNA participated in the first conference held by CADENAS “CANSO Data Exchange Network for the Americas”; is an initiative to promote and facilitate the safe and efficient movement of air traffic in the Americas and the Caribbean Region through the effective implementation of air traffic flow management (ATFM) and collaborative decision making. (CDM). These processes and procedures facilitate the exchange of data and promote a common situational awareness that is vital for the safe, efficient and harmonized flow of air traffic.
The FIRs of the NAM, CAR, SAM Region, several organizations such as: IATA, ALTA, ICAO, CANSO and several airlines such as American Airlines, DELTA, COPA, United, Spirit, among others, participated in said meeting.
