The Central American Institute for Aeronautical Training – ICCAE, through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), began the use of CAP funds in 2021. The trend of delivering virtual training programs for Member States of the Central American region was adopted. , prepared on the basis of FAA regulations. In this sense, each year in the training offer, systematized in the Regular Courses Plan, a series of events are contemplated annually to satisfy the operational training needs of the personnel of the Member States of Central America.

These needs are identified through the express statement of each entity and the different courses are planned based on their definition, many of which are taught several times a year. This allows uniformity in the formation of human capital in the region, giving consistency between performance needs and the training provided.

The courses taught by FAA will continue to be an essential forum for this multi-sector collaboration. Both ICCAE and FAA hope that these trainings will be part of the innovation tools due to the specific guidance material, instruction and expert assistance being part of the responses for Central American aviation in the interest of recovery. COCESNA-ICCAE will continue to promote a training program that is the basis for sustainable development that benefits aviation, in order to have harmonized restarts and recoveries this 2021.
