COCESNA in support of the State of Honduras has actively participated in the restructuring of the airspace of the Atlantic coast, the Terminal Control Areas (TMA) of Roatan and Bonito, Ceiba were created to streamline the influx of international air traffic visiting the northern region of the country, At the end of 2019 the VOR procedure was updated to runway 07 of Golosón International Airport to ensure that optimal safety levels are maintained for arrival operations at the Airport.
Golosón International Airport has a CAT 4D infrastructure and a runway 2949 meters long and 45 meters wide. As part of the airspace restructuring project, new procedures for Golosón International Airport are scheduled to be published for the second half of next year, in order to increase the airfield’s operating capacity.
