September 28 to 30, 2021.-COCESNA, through the Central American Agency for Aviation Safety (ACSA), participated in the Second Workshop on the Implementation and Regulation of Remotely Piloted Air Systems organized by ICAO for the regions of North, Central, South America and Caribbean.

In the workshop, advances were made known on the implementation of the different regulations of the States regarding unmanned aircraft, especially their integration into controlled airspace and their interaction with conventional aircraft. Likewise, different players from the industry participated, presenting the most relevant technological advances.

This event represents an opportunity for the region and allows it to be taken as a reference framework in the tasks of regulatory development and implementation of unmanned aircraft in Central America.
