October 27, 2021.- As part of the Regional Integration process of COCESNA Member States, ACSA identified the need to create collaborative efforts between the offices in charge of regulatory compliance, certification and surveillance of aerodromes in the Region. Thanks to the support of the Technical Committee, coordination was carried out between the experts of the member countries in order to form the AGA Regional Group. As part of its creation, the general and specific objectives that the group intends to achieve were established. This is how the first meeting of the Aerodrome and Ground Aids Regional Group (AGA) was held with a wide participation of representatives of all the States of the Region. With this, the creation of a collaborative framework between COCESNA Member States begins in the search for continuous improvement in terms of aerodromes. The first agreed project is the joint and harmonized implementation of the Global Reporting Format of Runway Conditions (GRF) in joint collaboration with the States that have made the greatest progress.

The response observed by the participants went far beyond the expectations imagined and is an important step for the unification of efforts and collaboration between sister countries.
