November 4, 2021.- COCESNA, through the Central American Institute for Aeronautical Training (ICCAE), begins the PBN Operational Approval course for the personnel of the Federal Civil Aviation Agency, which is an administrative unit under the Ministry of Communications and Transportation of Mexico. The purpose of this Course is that the participants have the necessary skills to certify air operators in PBN operations and issue the operation specifications. The learning methodology ensures that the skills and knowledge acquired are available to the rest of the Authority, strengthening internal training capacity, as well as promoting the productivity and growth of the organization. During the execution of the course, various learning activities will be carried out and audiovisual presentations with their respective evaluation instruments. This course is completely taught online and consists of class sessions lasting five to six hours per day, varying between synchronous or asynchronous activities that will facilitate interaction between the tutor and the participants. The total duration of the course is: forty teaching hours, for seven days. The virtual tutors of this course are specialists in the subject of instruction in e-learning modality; with wide international recognition.
At the end of the Course, the participants will be able to explain the fundamental concepts of Performance Based Navigation – PBN, as well as the national and international regulatory responsibilities in order to relate the operational approval process with each of the individual navigation specifications.
