November 25, 2021.- Advancing towards the integration of COCESNA Member States, the second meeting of the Regional Group of Aerodromes and Ground Aid Specialists of the Region was held with the participation of all Member States. The group agreed in its first meeting to join efforts for the harmonized implementation of the Global Reporting System of Runway Conditions known by its acronym in English GRF. In this second meeting, aspects related to the regional guide material that unifies the notification criteria in all Member States were discussed. And as a result, there is already a regional Advisory Circular that has been agreed upon by specialists in aerodromes in the region. COCESNA/ACSA especially thanks the participants from the States of Nicaragua, Guatemala and Costa Rica who with their work helped to enrich the document, as well as the active participation of El Salvador, with its contribution in improving the implementation plan, likewise, Honduras for its comments on the document and finally, Belize for its active participation in decision-making and its comments.

On the other hand, the project was proposed to the Regional Group of Aerodromes and Ground Aids for the digitization of the checklists of the Manual of Procedures of the Aerodromes Inspector in order to be incorporated into SIAREvo, for which the State of Guatemala offered to to collaborate with this work. In the coming months we will have an efficient technological tool based on the Web, to carry out the certification and surveillance processes of international aerodromes for each State of the Region.
