February 28, 2022.- COCESNA, through the GRIAA, held an important meeting to strengthen relations with the aircraft manufacturer AIRBUS on February 24, 2022. The meeting consisted of the presentation of the focus areas directed by the GRIAA for the development of Accident Investigation in the Central American Region, its strengthening within COCESNA and the importance of maintaining close contact with the aeronautical industry for this important area during accidents and serious incidents that may occur in the region, considering the important component of AIRBUS aircraft that transit through the skies of Central America.

Both parties showed their openness for subsequent meetings and even the possible participation in the accident investigation work groups that are carried out between the GRIAA and the Specialists of the Member States. Messrs. Rodolfo Quevedo, Santiago Saltos, Albert Urdiroz and Xavier Barriola participated in the meeting on behalf of AIRBUS and on the part of COCESNA with the participation of Lic. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre, DE-CEO of COCESNA, Cap. Carlos Salazar, President of the Board of Directors of COCESNA and GRIAA Coordinator, Lic. Eveling Aráuz, GRIAA Manager and Lic. Elvin Lacayo.
