COCESNA through the Central American Institute for Aeronautical Training (ICCAE) held the closing ceremony of the Non Destructive Testing – NDT course, which was financed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under the Central America Partnership Funds.
The course was held from March 28 to April 1 of this year, in classroom mode at the ICCAE facilities. The participants who received this course belong to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Guatemala (DGAC), the Belize Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), the Honduran Civil Aviation Agency (AHAC), the National Institute of Civil Aviation of Nicaragua (INAC) and the Civil Aviation Authority of El Salvador (AAC).
This course is part of the ICCAE’s operational safety training program, and its purpose is to develop in civil aviation inspectors the necessary skills to audit aeronautical workshops and institutions that provide NDT services, verifying the application of the different regulations, the administration of qualification programs and the certification of personnel according to the different inspection and auditing methods used in the aeronautical industry.
