May 4, 2022.- In coordination with COCESNA through the Central American Air Navigation Agency (ACNA) and the Central American Agency for Aviation Safety (ACSA), within the framework of the EU-LA-APP Project and with the support of EASA, on April 20, the 4th Follow-up Meeting of “Certification of Air Navigation Service Providers” was held, with the participation of specialists from COCESNA Member States. In this workshop, EASA experts followed up on the tasks addressed in previous meetings concerning the European Navigation Services Certification process, and how it can be used as a reference framework in the Transit Service Provider Certification project. Air in the Central American Superior Airspace, which is provided by COCESNA through CENAMER CONTROL. As a follow-up to this meeting, and to give continuity to the Certification project of the Air Traffic Service Provider in the Upper Airspace in Central America, meetings with specialists from the Member States will be scheduled together with the assistance of EASA experts. of COCESNA, ACNA and ACSA. The activities that are in the initial phase, in process and the next steps to follow and the designation of each person in charge were described.
