COCESNA through the Central American Institute for Aeronautical Training (ICCAE) held the closing ceremony of the AVSEC National Inspectors course, which took place from August 15 to 23 of this year, in classroom mode at the ICCAE facilities, aimed at inspectors and officials responsible for conducting audits, inspections and safety testing processes of the States of El Salvador and Costa Rica.
Methodologically, this course was given in classroom mode, with a duration of 56 teaching hours, during 7 days, in which the 8 modules contained in this course were developed.
The instructor who conducted this course was a specialist in the subject, developing tasks related to the establishment of the regulatory field and a wide experience as a teacher.
The purpose of the “AVSEC National Inspectors” course is to develop the necessary competencies for national auditors and inspectors to apply the techniques, supervision and surveillance activities in accordance with the requirements of the ICAO DOC. 10047 ICAO Aviation Security Surveillance Manual, Establishment and Management of a State Aviation Security Surveillance System; as well as, DOC. 8973 Aviation Security Manual and ANNEX 17 Security.
