Within the framework of the EULAC-APP II project, COCESNA through the Central American Aviation Safety Agency (ACSA) participates in the course given by EASA “ATO Certification and Oversight Process”, held in Cologne Germany during the week of November 28 to December 1, 2022.
The objective of the course is the implementation of a surveillance system in Approved Training Centers (ATOs). This is important, initially to establish the system and after its establishment, the implementation of the system in the region to perform risk-based supervision of these Training Centers.
Thanks to this initiative, Member States will benefit from the availability of trained personnel to assist them in carrying out the tasks associated with the surveillance of the Approved Training Centers.
