The Executive Director CEO of COCESNA, Mr. Juan Carlos Trabanino Aguirre, had an outstanding participation in the last edition of the Aviation Day event held in Costa Rica on September 19 of this year, an activity that was convened by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). where the challenges and opportunities of the aeronautical sector in Costa Rica and Central America were analyzed by senior management of the airline and tourism industry, sector executives, experts, regulators, local authorities, as well as prominent members and suppliers of the chain. of aviation value.

Mr. Trabanino achieved an important participation in the summit forum of the activity, called, “Operational needs to enhance aviation in Costa Rica” accompanied by other international experts, in which he expressed that the aviation industry must continue being a strategic partner and driver of development of Costa Rica and the Region, for which COCESNA works collaboratively with the provision of various excellent services.

Within the framework of this activity, IATA also held the First Sustainability Meeting, in which the Environment Manager of COCESNA, Eng. Giovanni Tobar, participated as an expert on the panel, “Commitment 2050 Route towards the decarbonization of Aviation ”
