COCESNA on September 26th and 27th of this year held an important working meeting with the Cuban Air Navigation Company (ECNA) and the authorities of the Institute of Civil Aeronautics of Cuba (IACC) represented by Eng. Orlando Nevot González, Director of Aircraft Navigation IACC, Eng. Silvio Juan Michelena Álvarez, Deputy Director UEB ACC Havana and ATCO. José Luis Castellanos López, Specialist ATM ACC Havana.
The objective of this meeting was to review/update the Operational Agreement between the Air Traffic units, establishing the operational procedures for coordination, air traffic routing and communications, as well as contingency actions applicable to traffic operating in the common limits of the FIR/UIR CENAMER and the FIR/UIR/UTA HAVANA.
