From March 18 to 22, 2024, it was held in Alajuela (Costa Rica), at the COCESNA/ACSA offices, organized by ICAO and sponsored by the Civil Aviation Directorate of Costa Rica; the Safety Intelligence and Safety Performance Management Workshop of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The workshop had 37 participants from 21 ICAO Member States from across the Pan American region.
The workshop methodology provided a platform for participants to gain knowledge and share experiences of the importance of data to obtain information capable of being processed for data-based decision making.
Specialist Frazier Rodriguez from COCESNA/ACSA made a presentation on the importance of the management and socialization of operational safety information at the State and Regional level, where the PASO Program (Operational Safety Action Program) established in Costa was presented as an example. Rica and the PASOC Project at the regional level administered by ACSA, which is in a reactivation process.
