Aircraft Maintenance Technician License Limited (TMA-L) in Interiors and Structures Skill Course

COCESNA and the Executive Direction -CEO through the Aeronautical Training Management (ICCAE), in a joint effort of USAID-IOM and AEROMAN; launches the Scholarships available for the Training of Aeronautical Technicians in the specialties of Aircraft Structures and Aircraft Interiors. This program seeks to promote the development of young people in El Salvador with a special focus on the inclusion of women in the airline industry, as well as to reduce the rate of migration of these young people to other countries.

TMA-L SCHOLARSHIPS

Course objective
Acquire knowledge, skills and technical abilities in maintenance, removal, installation, repair and return to service of aircraft components and equipment in the transport category.
Labor field

Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will be able to work in an Aeronautical Maintenance Shop. Executing maintenance processes in flight deck, passenger cabin of passenger and cargo aircrafts.

  • The scholarship does NOT include: Industrial footwear – Aviation mechanic apprentice permit payment before AAC.

Scholarship application requirements
  • Vocational Technical Bachelor or Higher University Technician, related to Aeronautics: Electronics, Industrial Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, Electrician, Electrotechnician, Mechatronics, Computer Science or Computer Maintenance (hardware).
  • Age: 17 – 25 years old.
  • Complete the propaedeutic week of admission.
  • Full time availability during the course (8 hours per day for 8 months).

  • Letter of recommendation from the study center
  • Technical Baccalaureate degree (in case of having your degree in process, present proof from the educational institution that your degree is in process) or University Superior Technician degree.

The Central American Institute of Aeronautical Training – ICCAE – is the specialized training unit of COCESNA (Regional Integration Organization, which controls the Central American IRF and supports its Member States: Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua) and is responsible for leading the aeronautical training processes in the Region, strengthening the skills of aeronautical professionals, complying with ICAO standards and methods and regulations of the States; developing professional knowledge through appropriate methodologies and educational technologies.
